Archer works immediately as a limited guest. Sign in only when you want persistent history, account-specific analysis, or controlled execution.

Authorize Archer through Robinhood. Archer never asks for or stores your brokerage password.
It has no portfolio, brokerage, saved-history, or trading access. Guest rate limits protect the shared service and reset automatically.
In Settings, start the Robinhood connection and complete authorization with Robinhood. Archer receives a scoped connection envelope; your brokerage password never enters Archer.
Choose the Robinhood connection panel after signing in.
Complete the provider-owned OAuth flow and return to Archer.
Archer reports connected, disconnected, expired, and recovery states directly in the UI.

Archer does not jump from language directly to placement. Each request passes through account resolution, policy evaluation, preview, approval, and application-owned execution.

If a placement response is lost or ambiguous, Archer records the unresolved result and performs read-only order checks. It never blindly sends the order again.
